VELHEAT

A Clearer Path from Requirement to Heating Order

The right starting point is a clear description of the heating task. Use the stages below to organize the technical decisions, sample review and commercial details needed for your project. The agreed order defines the actual scope and schedule.

Your Project in Four Stages

Bring the application, physical interface and order requirements into the same discussion.

1. Define the Requirement

Describe what needs heating, its temperature and environment, the available supply and the installation dimensions. Add your planned quantity and destination.

2. Confirm the Configuration

Review the proposed construction, specifications and documentation. Where a sample is needed, agree its purpose and acceptance criteria before preparation.

3. Agree the Order and Checks

Confirm the drawing revision, electrical ratings, quantity, applicable checks and commercial terms. Identify any approval still needed before production is authorized.

4. Prepare for Delivery

Confirm packaging, identification, shipping details and the required documents. Review the delivery arrangements against the agreed order and destination requirements.

The Details to Resolve at Each Stage

A custom cable, flexible heater and engineered pipeline system do not need identical reviews. Apply these stages to the actual construction and responsibility boundaries of the project.

1. Submit the Application Brief

Identify the product family and intended duty. Provide target temperature, maximum exposure, lowest ambient condition and available supply. Add a drawing showing heated dimensions, mounting, connections and nearby constraints. Describe moisture, chemicals, movement or other service conditions that affect construction. For a replacement, include the existing part label and installation context.

2. Review the Scope and Quotation

Bring the proposed heater, controls and equipment interfaces into a defined scope. Identify which components, documents and project activities the quotation covers. Confirm the requested quantity, destination and commercial requirements, and resolve open technical questions. Proposed price and timing should relate to an identified configuration rather than an incomplete product name.

3. Agree Any Sample Development

Decide whether a reference sample, a sample to drawing or another documented review is appropriate. Define what must be checked and under which conditions. Confirm sample fees, preparation time, delivery and any revision arrangements for the project. A sample stage should answer specific questions before the final order specification is released.

4. Record the Approved Specification

Identify the accepted drawing revision, construction, materials, dimensions, leads and electrical duty. Where a sample has been reviewed, record its status and any agreed changes. Keep operating limits and required documentation alongside the physical reference. Confirm order quantity, packaging and commercial terms so the production instruction is unambiguous.

5. Define Production and Acceptance Requirements

The order should identify the checks required for its particular heater construction, together with acceptance criteria and any records to be supplied. These may concern dimensions, identification, electrical characteristics or specified functional behaviour. Agree the applicable inspection scope and responsibilities; do not assume a test method or certificate from the product's appearance alone.

6. Confirm Packaging and Delivery

Specify how the finished assemblies should be protected and identified, including any handling constraints for bends, surfaces, terminals or connectors. Confirm quantities, packing information, destination and the agreed shipping arrangement. Identify the documents required with the shipment and distinguish production completion from transport time and arrival expectations.

Keep the Order Details Connected

A useful production reference combines the physical design, acceptance requirements and delivery information. These records should describe the same agreed configuration.

Drawing and Configuration

Use an identified drawing revision and clear part description. Record heated and overall dimensions separately where relevant, together with the mounting and connection arrangement.

Checks and Acceptance

State which characteristics require verification, the relevant conditions and the evidence expected. Requested tests and documents should be confirmed for the actual product assembly.

Packaging and Identification

Connect the part reference, quantity and packing requirements to the order. Clear identification helps distinguish different electrical ratings or configurations at receipt and installation.

Start with the Requirement You Have

Email info@velheat.com with the application, drawing, planned quantity and destination. Include your required date so the technical and delivery requirements can be discussed together.

Order Quantity

Agreed for each custom project.

Sample Timing

Confirmed after the sample scope is reviewed.

Production Timing

Confirmed with the specification and order arrangements.

Before you get started.

Start with the application, dimensions, required temperature, available supply and service environment. Include a drawing or existing part information, your planned quantity and destination. Identify any required testing, approval or documentation so it can be reviewed with the proposed construction.
The appropriate review depends on the product, customization and project risks. Discuss whether a reference sample, a sample to drawing or another agreed verification route will answer the important questions. Any sample cost, schedule and acceptance criteria should be confirmed before that work starts.
Confirm the technical specification and drawing revision, quantity, acceptance requirements, documentation, packaging and commercial arrangements. Where sample approval is part of the project, record its status and any agreed changes. The final order should identify any remaining approval needed before production is authorized.
They should follow the heater construction, intended application and agreed order requirements. State the characteristics to verify and the reports or records you need. The specific inspection methods, acceptance criteria and responsibilities must be confirmed for the proposed product; a generic heater description does not establish a testing or certification scope.
Order quantity is discussed for each custom project. Timing depends on the confirmed specification, material requirements, sample or revision work and order arrangements. Share your preferred quantity and required date early, and distinguish the production schedule from shipping transit and destination delivery conditions.

Bring your application. Start a direct conversation.

Send your drawing, operating conditions or the heating challenge you need to solve. Quantities are agreed for each custom project.
